Dr. Phil Ball dies, services set for Tuesday

A Muncie physician and columnist for city newspapers has died. Dr. Phil Ball, who practiced medicine for nearly sixty years and wrote columns for the Muncie Star and the Muncie Evening Press, now the Star Press since 1954. Ball was a veteran of World War II and was married to wife Esther for 71 years. Funeral services are set for tomorrow at Meeks Mortuary.
