Dropping off a suspicious looking package at the Ball State student center yesterday afternoon got student Jackson Hiatt arrested. An emergency notification alert was sent to the Ball State community, the student center was evacuated, and the all-clear was given about an hour later. The package did not end up being anything dangerous and that everything went back to normal – except for Hiatt, who’s looking at some serious charges, including intimidation.
