Police have jailed an Alexandria man on charges including child molestation after an incident with a girl younger than 14. It is alleged to have happened at a south Muncie residence several days ago while the girl’s mother was away at a doctor’s appointment. The mother told police that the suspect, 32-year-old James Andrew Rowland III, had been living with her for about 10 months.
