The 2016 election— and much of Delaware County government for the next four years — will take shape this week. The deadline for candidates for offices ranging from county commissioner and county council to state representative is noon Friday. Local declarations of candidacy must be filed with the Delaware County clerk’s office by then. The same deadline applies in other East Central Indiana counties.
