Winchester man posing as cop facing more serious charges

In Winchester, a man who allegedly posed as a police officer and detained four teenagers who were on private property has charges against him enhanced. 41-year-old Kory Tracy was arrested last February. Police say the teens were parked on the lot of LT Truck Sales on U.S. 36 in Modoc after attending a dance in Winchester to allow the driver to take a brief nap. Tracy is accused of detaining the teens while armed with a handgun, and told them he was a reserve Muncie police officer. He’s now facing four level 3 felonies, each carrying a 16-year prison sentence. His trial next month has been rescheduled for June 15th.
