A Muncie man is in jail, facing charges for beating his pregant 18-year-old girlfriend because she wouldn’t give him money. Cops say Christopher Chambers hit the woman who is four months pregnant in early January. She was treated at a hospital where she told officers about the attack that allegedly happened on East Main St. He’s facing domestic battery and battery resulting in bodily injury to a pregnant female.
