Pendleton man gets 16 years in fatal crash while stoned

A Pendleton man who smoked pot before causing a crash that killed two people in 2013 will go to prison for 16 years. 28-year-old Isaiah Stone ran a stop sign at Mechanicsburg Rd. and Henry County Road 825-N. His two passengers were killed in the crash with another car. He plead guilty to two counts of causing death while driving with a controlled substance and causing serious bodily injury of the other driver. His license is also suspended for four years after he’s released. He’d been arrested for driving under the influence of drugs five weeks before that fatal crash and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge then.
