A Muncie man has taken a plea deal with prosecutors and pleads guilty to shooting another man last summer on East Adams Street. 27-year-old Brandon Slay pleaded guilty to aggravated battery. The terms of the deal have not been announced, and the judge will decide if the deal is accepted. Sentencing is set for Feb 3rd. The conviction typically carries a penalty of 16 years in prison.
