A fire on New Year’s Day created a lot of havoc for fire crews in West Terre Haute. They were called to a cabin fire around 10 that morning. However, one of the roads needed to access the cabin had been flooded, and the fire fighters had to load their equipment onto a boat to get to the scene. While problematic, they were able to reach the burning cabin and put out the fire. No one was home at the time and no one was injured.
