Animal cruelty charges are being brought against a Muncie man for failing to care for his dog. According to police, 31-year-old Joshua Wilson is charged with animal cruelty, a misdemeanor that could land him in jail for a year. His land lord called police after she found a small, brown malnourished pit bull with an eye problem, no food or water in his home last September . The home was full of excrement and the dog and a cat were removed to the city shelter. He was arrested Saturday night after failing to appear in court. Wilson’s next hearing is February first.
