Kindergarten through 8th grade students in Muncie Community Schools could have a later start time next semester. The emergency manager is expected to act on the issue Tuesay night which would shift the early tardy bell from 7:35am to 8:10am in elementary, and from 8:35a to 9a for middle schoolers.
Also, elementary schools would dismiss at 2:40 p.m., or 10 minutes later than this school year, and middle schools would let out at 4 p.m., or 25 minutes later than currently.
