It’s a chance for Anderson to do a little spring cleaning. The 33rd annual citywide cleanup is set for Saturday, May 12. The cleanup will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the disposal site at Athletic Park. Volunteers are asked to register at 15th Street and Madison Avenue. The city is providing gloves, trash bags and safety vests. Lunch will be provided at noon at 15th Street and Madison Avenue. Last year, 85 dumpsters were filled and 291 tons of material disposed.
