The city of Anderson is closer to securing another tool to promote investment in the city through a new federal program. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb sent on to the federal government four of five Opportunity Zones. They include: large areas from Madison Avenue to Park Road; downtown Anderson; from the White River east to Rangeline Road and the former General Motors properties.
