A Muncie man has been sentenced to 90 years in prison for the fatal shooting of an acquaintance who was a father of six. Twenty-five-year-old Alonzo Williams was sentenced Tuesday on murder and criminal confinement convictions in Jeffrey Brown’s February 2017 killing. Authorities say Brown was moved with his hands tied behind his back from another location to a Muncie field where he was shot 10 times. Williams’ co-defendant, Jeremy Holland, is set to stand trial June 25 in the slaying.
