It’s a plan on how the city will address flooding, the Anderson City Council has voted to approve an ordinance detailing who and when to respond to flooding in the city. A year in the making, the plan designates three levels of flooding — minor, moderate and major — and maps out trouble areas. It is believed that the new plan will help lower flood insurance rates.
