House Speaker Brian Bosma says legislation allowing pharmacies, grocers and convenience stores to sell cold beer is almost certainly dead for the year. But the Indianapolis Republican said Thursday that the issue won’t go away. He said the key to legislative success is adopting a gradual approach. Bosma said the Legislature should focus this year on repealing the state’s ban on Sunday carryout alcohol sales.
