Senators Joe Donnelly and Todd Rokita have introduced a resolution to honor Ernie Pyle – the Hoosier journalist who earned the Pulitzer Prize for Correspondence during WW2. The senators are proposing “National Ernie Pyle Day” on what would have been his 118th birthday — August 3, 2018.
