The city of Muncie has lost a battle that lasted more than two years and now has been ordered to release $22,000 it has held in a dispute over the demolition of a northside motel. The hold-up was blamed on possible tanks from an old gas station that were located near the Budget Inn, on North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
