20 new cop cars are about to hit the streets of Anderson. Funding for the Ford Interceptors was approved by the City Council late last year to the tune of 550-thousand dollars. The council approved the transfer of $400,000 in the police department budget to supplement $150,000 already in the budget for the purchase.
