Authorities say they recovered two bodies from water a few blocks apart in Fort Wayne in what are considered separate incidents. The deaths weren’t immediately linked to heavy rainfall that sparked flash flooding in Fort Wayne, but the recovery of one of the bodies from the Maumee River was made more difficult by high, swift-moving water. The other was found during a search for a missing fisherman in a pond.
