A temporary contractor has been hired to get the Alexandria clerk-treasurer’s office back on track. City council voted 6-1 in favor of a contract with Reedy Financial Group that will go week to week. In terms of compensation, it would range from $75 to $150 per hour. The former clerk-treasurer Amie Hood resigned a few weeks ago after just a month in office.
