The Star Press reports a 7-year-old boy tried to help revive his mother as she OD’ed on drugs in a hotel in Muncie. Police say the boy tried to open his mother’s eyes during the incident at the Cardinal Inn at 3400 N. Everbrook Lane. Police were sent there at about 11 Wednesday morning and found 30 year old Angela James of South Penn Street breathing but not responsive. She came to a short time later and refused medical treatment.
