City Wants 125K Back From Closed Restaurant

The city of Muncie loaned $125,000 to a Mexican restaurant two years ago, and now it wants the money back. One hitch – the place has since gone out of business. The Muncie Industrial Revolving Loan Fund board approved the money for Puerta al Paraiso that was part of the new Village Promenade development in the Ball State Village. While speculation was it would be a huge hit, the restaurant closed last year.
