Sen. Dan Coats met with President-elect Donald Trump in New York Wednesday; a day after Trump announced a deal that would keep hundreds of jobs from Carrier Corporation in Indianapolis. A spokesperson says Coats spoke with Trump about several important issues and thanked him for his work to keep nearly 1,000 jobs in Indiana.
