New Castle artificial field being installed at high school

For many, football can’t get here quick enough. That’s the case in New Castle, where new artificial turf is being installed at the high school over the next week. The multi-purpose field is partially funded by a private, quarter of a million dollar donation, to help offset the $700,000 cost. It’ll last at least 10 years, doesn’t need to be mowed or painted, saving those costs.
