Indiana company builds human heart tissue in space with 3-D printer

And an amazing story of technology that could change the lives of millions. A Greenville Indiana company has successfully used a 3-D printer to create human heart tissue in space. The lack of gravity allows the printer to use finer printer tips and lower viscosity bio-ink that contain only the biological materials needed to build a healthy organ. The successful test is the first step to building replacement organs.
