Weak Indiana Primary Voter Numbers

Despite what appeared to be high interest in this year’s presidential race, Secretary of State Connie Lawson says only 38-percent of Indiana voters showed up at the polls for the May primary. That’s lower than the 40-percent who showed up during the last truly competitive primary in 2008.
