Principal Buys Indy 500 Tix For Students

Over 200 tickets were donated to Indianapolis Public Schools for students to attend the Indy 500 race Sunday. IPS principal Lacey Johnson purchased the tickets out of his own pocket so the kids could go, with hopes of creating more racing fans. Students with perfect or near perfect attendance got the free tickets.
