Ivy Tech Community College reports an 11.2% enrollment increase for this spring semester compared to last spring. 6,100 students are enrolled at the Muncie, Anderson and Marion campuses.
Noblesville officials say they plan to construct four roundabouts at intersections this year. Meanwhile a Fishers intersection will see a roundabout next year. The city of Carmel already has more than 40 roundabouts. Officials say the circular intersections greatly improve traffic flow.
A Huntington North High school freshman was taken from school by police Friday after witnesses say h e stabbed a fellow student in the abdomen in a school hallway. Two faculty members confronted the 14-year-old after the alleged attack. They told police the boy surrendered immediately.
Ball States spring enrollment totals 15,849 according to figures released by the university last week. Thats down 482 students from last spring. The university also reports off-campus enrollment is up to over 3,000 students.
