"A&F" vehicles put to use

One of the Hummers donated to Muncie by producers of “Armed and Famous” got a special use early Wednesday morning. Police used it to transport the husband of an expecting mother to a birthing center where she was entering emergency child birth. The youngster was born at the Expectations birthing center on White River Boulevard.

Snow damage closes school

Muncie’s South View Elementary School will remain closed Friday.  Superintendent Marlin Creasy says the building suffered roof and structural damage possibly due to the weight of the snow.  The extent of the damage has yet to be determined.

Man gets jail time in battery
