Grant County resident killed in Iraq by I-E-D

A 2006 GRADUATE OF EASTBROOK HIGH SCHOOL HAS BEEN KILLED IN IRAQ.  20-YEAR-OLD DAVID KIRKPATRICK WAS RIDING IN A HUMVEE WHEN AN I-E-D EXPLODED. HOWEVER, FAMILY MEMBERS WERE UNAWARE OF WHERE KIRKPATRIC WAS IN IRAQ AT THE TIME OF THE EXPLOSION.  KIRKPATRICK IS THE FIFTH RESIDENT OF GRANT COUNTY TO BE KILLED OVERSEAS SINCE 2004.

Three arrested for dealing heroin

AUTHORITIES IN SEYMOUR ARRESTED THREE PEOPLE ON CHARGES OF DEALING HEROIN.  MARK GONZALES, MICHELLE SCHUERMAN AND CRYSTAL SHUERMAN WERE ALL ARRESTED EARLY FRIDAY.  POLICE FOUND 12 CONTAINERS OF HEROIN, AS WELL AS 520 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA AND A LITTLE LESS THAN FOUR GRAMS OF COCAINE.

Fugitives turn themselves in at Indianapolis church
