Panera Bread in Muncie will be moving to a new location. The owners have filed an application to allow construction for a new cafe and bakery. It would be located in the southwest corner of Muncie Mall’s parking lot, next to JC Penney. One variance they’re looking for is to build the restaurant further back off McGalliard Road than current zoning allows. No word on a possible construction timeline.
