Local NAACP official charged with dealing cocaine

Cocaine peddling counts face the president of the local chapter of the NAACP. The Star Press reports 49 year old Timothy Miles and according to police he sold cocaine to an undercover agent on a bus owned by MITS, where he also serves as assistant director of transportaiton. Police say it’s the third such deal they’ve tracked to Miles, who allegedly told authorities he went into drug dealing to raise funds to pay for child support.
