Muncie city police investigating a report of a shooting last week determined the victim had been shot with a paint-ball pellet or something similar. The 20-year-old Muncie man reported he was walking in the 4400 block of North Broadway when an object fired by an unknown assailant struck him. He was taken to a local hospital where he was reported to have a small amount of blood from the wound on his right thigh.
