State House bans guns; enforces use of metal detectors

Visitors to the Indiana State house will have to leave their guns at home and pass through metal detectors starting on June 7th. The new restrictions will be announced later today during a news conference at the Capitol Building.  The State House has been wide open with no metal detectors and numerous entrances.  The new policy will ban guns and visitors will have to pass through metal detectors and have their bags scanned by X-ray machines.
