New rule bans cell phones from courthouse

CELL PHONES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE GRANT COUNTY COURTHOUSE BUILDING.  OFFICIALS SAY THE RULE WAS MADE FOR SECURITY REASONS DESPITE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS. CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE MARK SPITZER SAYS THE MAIN CONCERN WAS OVER THE POSSIBILITY OF PICTURES BEING TAKEN WITH CAMERA PHONES.  MOST INDIANA COURTROOMS DO NOT ALLOW THE USE OF CAMERAS DURING TRIALS.
