$3.4 M grant will help K-12 student achievement

A 3.4 million dollar grant from Lilly Endowment will go towards the Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Resource Network, a group dedicated towards the improvement of K through 12 student achievement.  The funds will help support initiatives such as the Rose-Hulman Homework Hotline. The ultimate goal of the group is to position Indiana’s workforce for more than 40 thousand new jobs in the life sciences by 2012.
