Anderson School Bus Drivers Want Better Contract Offer from ACS

Anderson Community Schools and school bus drivers are attempting to negotiate a new contract.  The drivers say that ACS is not offering sufficient increases for the new contract offer.  ACS is offering a $4 increase per mileage per year for four years. But, the drivers say they need a $25 increase on their base pay of $149 per day. They said $22 would do if there were a fuel clause of $2 per gallon that ACS reimburses at the end of the year.
