The Elwood City Council has voted to permanently close “Chamber Alley” to vehicles. Located between Gypsy Soul and the Elwood Chamber of Commerce, the alley is planned to become part of an outdoor venue. The Herald Bulletin reports that tentative plans f0or the project were presented to the council last year by the Madison County Council of Governments.
