U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) will visit the Marion Veteran’s Nursing Home Thursday to receive an update on the facility’s low ratings uncovered by an investigation from USA Today and the Boston Globe. According to the reports, VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System home received a one-star ranking at the end of 2017. Last month, Senator Young co-sponsored an amendment to require the VA to make public detailed reports about the quality of care at such facilities.
