An eminent domain attempt in Yourktown where officials are looking to seize property at 9410 W. Smith Street, 9400 W. Smith Street, 2105 Vine Street and 6401 Canal Street from Janice Ross and JPMorgan Chase Bank. Documents filed in court say the town wants the parcels for creation of parks, parking and “other” improvements such as streets and alleys.
