It’s the first case of eminent domain in the Town of Yorktown. Officials have taken the first step to seize properties at 9400 & 9410 West Smith Street, 2105 Vine Street and 6401 Canal Street. The town hopes to acquire the land for public improvements including parks, parking and streets and alleys.
