Indiana’s Senators and Rep. Susan Brooks have joined others on Capitol Hill criticizing President Trump’s summit with Russia’s Valdimir Putin. The Senators Joe Donnelly, Todd Young and Rep. Brooks said the U.S. must insure the integrity of elections. Both Young and Donnelly added that the president should stand up to Putin who is seeking to divide NATO and harm U.S. national security. Trump later stated he mis-spoke and says he accepts the American intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia interfered in the election.
