Charges Face Man In Fiery, Fatal Crash

In Fort Wayne, a New Haven man has been charged in a fiery June car crash that killed a passenger. Twenty-nine-year Jeremy J. Hoerger was charged Monday with reckless homicide and driving while intoxicated causing death. Court documents say Hoerger had a blood-alcohol content more than three times Indiana’s legal limit when his car struck a tree and caught fire. Witnesses pulled the unconscious Hoerger from the wreck, but 27-year-old passenger Juliet Ann Taylor Schebelt died.
