Town Hall Covers Many Topics

Anderson Councilwoman Rebecca Crumes’ quarterly town hall meeting covered a lot of ground. Crumes and other politicians raised concerns over education, healthcare and voting for the disadvantaged. Indiana State Auditor candidate, Joselyn Whitticker says that more needs to be done at local and federal levels to improve their access to those resources. Crumes voiced her concerns about a law that would purge a half-million Hoosiers from voter registration rolls, but a U.S. District Court Judge blocked the law.
