An Anderson man asked the judge for leniency, but was instead handed a 40-year prison sentence. 34-year-old Robert Coleman was convicted of attempted child molestation and a charge of confinement. He immediately indicated through his defense attorney that he wants to appeal both his conviction and the sentence.
