Ball State University has selected Beth Goetz as the new Athletics Director. Goetz will join Ball State in June after serving as the chief operating officer of the University of Connecticut’s (UConn) athletics department since 2016. She will succeed Mark Sandy, who is retiring. Goetz will oversee athletic programs and activities that fully conform with institutional, Mid-American Conference (MAC), and NCAA rules and guidelines.
