The Ball State University Board of Trustees unanimously approved the resolution to oversee the Muncie Community Schools at Wednesday’s special meeting. BSU President Geoffrey Mearns says more than 2.9 million dollars to the district is already committed by private donations and 50-thousand dollars is available to teachers for classroom supplies. The process of selecting a new school board begins today, with application details at BSU.edu/mcs and at the Bracken Administration building.
