Dogs Surrendered In Extreme Case Of Animal Hoarding

It’s being called an extreme case of animal hoarding. Madison County sheriff’s deputies responding to a complaint at a home on Trenton Street in Alexandria say they could smell the mess from the driveway. 19 Shih Tzus and rat terrier mixes appeared to be well-fed, but were kept in very unsanitary conditions. The owner agreed to surrender the animals.
