The Pendleton Town Council has voted against a proposed riverfront district. The plan included a stretch along Pendleton Avenue near Falls Park, downtown areas along State Street and south to Laurel Street. The council voted unanimously to accept a recommendation from the Pendleton Business Association against the special development district.
